Should I mention in my transfer essay that I want to double major?

Hi, I've been a psych major at a state university for four years and am transferring for various reasons, one of which is that I recently became interested in physics and cannot double major here. In my essay, should I mention that I still retain interest in my current field of psychology or focus on the physics? I can't apply as a prospective double major (am applying for physics, intend to double major in a program called 'biopsychology cognition and neuroscience') but I was wondering if expressing that I am interested in both physics and psychology, as opposed to physics alone, would reflect badly on me. I don't want to appear indecisive and since my prospective double major isn't guaranteed when admitted I especially don't want to be rejected simply because I counted on it.

Thank you for any insights.
