Should I note that I'm a Ventures Scholar?

Are these meaningless junk emails, or does being a Ventures Scholar have any merit significance?

I have no idea what that is.

If it's like Who's Who, then exclude it.

No, it's not like Who's Who. Ventures Scholars is when a minority (or 1st generation) student scores above a certain score on the PSAT, SAT, or ACT.

I would definitely include it because there's many colleges that seem to value it, including prestigious schools like Yale, Pomona, Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Bryn Mawr, etc.

Mention it. It indicates that you're a rare URM or first generation college student interested in math/science careers. It also indicates that your SATs are higher than those of most URMs and first generation college students. Some colleges give scholarships, fee waivers and other special things for Ventures Scholars.
