Should I, or shouldn't I?

I'm currently a sophmore and I need another filler class for next semester so I was thinking about taking a language class. I hear the language classes are pretty hard in Berkeley so I'm just curious if it's worth my while.

I'm majoring in Pre-Med, and I hear I'm going to have to learn/or use Latin in some form in Med School anyways, so here's my question: Should I take Latin as an undergrad? Or should I stick to the language I took in HS (French) or just not even take a language class at all and take some upper div classes?

Any and all help is appreciated.

Latin is definitely useful, but only if you're interested in it. Check out some online tutorials and see if it's something you wouldn't mind studying.

As far as practicality goes, Spanish is probably your best bet. Sure, knowing Latin will help you somewhat, but the ability to converse with patients who only known spanish is much more helpful. But if you are intrigued by Latin, do it.

there's no such thing as a premed major =P

Eh, MCB might as well mean pre-med. But you're right, there is not "pre-med" major.

Meh, MCB with intention to go to med school. Voilla.
