Should I put attending the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament (HMMT) on my college (Ivies) apps?

Hi,

In two weeks or so, I will be competing at HMMT and didn’t fully realize this until earlier this month. I am currently a senior, and did not put this on my application, though I did put AIME and AMC scores. Is this something worth updating my college about? How would I go about doing so?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Personally, I would wait until the tournament is over then contact admissions with an update that includes how you did (if you feel it strengthens your app.)

I doubt with your other math achievements that plans to attend will make a difference.
