Should I put my picture in Additional Information Section

My daughter's a classical piano player and so she will be submitting an Art Supplment in the common app either DVD or Posting on a remote web site. We are submitting a Music Resume covering repertoire and music history. We want to put a picture of my daughter and a short bio in the additional information section. My daugter is relatively attractive but we are being advised not to put the photo bio in the section. We think it's a plus but everyone seems to say it's too risky? Any thoughts on this topic?

Post a link so we can rate your daughter on a scale of 1 to 10 :D

People fought this battle about 50 years ago. Schools used to require photos on applications. Some people suspected that discrimination was at work, and litigation followed. Now a school may recommend it but seldom requires it. Why take the chance, especially for a young woman?

You ought to be asking why you include yourself as an applicant. “We” are not submitting a Music Resume, SHE is!
