Should I repeat physics??

Hello all,

This is my first time here so just bear with me...

Long story short: I am a starting my third high school this week, in junior year and at my previous HS (in an American HS abroad) I doubled up on sciences my sophomore year and did physics & chemistry. I did it in hopes that I could get into AP bio junior year. My new school won't let me take AP Bio (they say seniors ONLY and are shocked I even suggested it) but they put me in honors Physics (an accelerated class of the one I did last year).

So my question is...should I do Physics again this year or will colleges think I did it for an easy A or will they frown on the fact that I did't take a science class junior year?? I don't know what to think

Thnx so much!!

Don’t retake physics. that will not look good. Just take a gap on science and take AP Bio next. Colleges care about the number of classes, not necessarily the number of year, so since you double up, you are fine. If you are worried about this, have your GC mention it in your rec next year. Colleges also understand the implications of switching schools.
