Should I report someone who cheated on the PSAT?

I overheard someone say that they went back after time was up to finish portions of the test. Should I report this person?

Follow your heart.

I agree what the person above said.

But if I were you I would go ahead, even if it’s someone you know who did it, the proctor will probably keep you anonymous.

I also heard someone say they did this; I was in the bathroom after the test and I heard them talking about it. Too bad I didn’t see who it was. I don’t like cheaters.

Again, if you’re not cheating you’re not trying :P

That’s actually one of many phrases goaltenders go by, doesn’t have ANY relevance to school though. I wouldn’t personally report him, you make your own decision though.

Stay in ur lane

I wouldn’t because why? Going back doesn’t mean getting the answers right. Idk I just think its a bit unnecessary

I think I just lost a friend because she didn’t believe me and was adamant that you lose points for leaving answers blank on the PSAT. While you don’t gain any points, if and only if you cannot eliminate any answer choices, it is generally advised that you should leave the question blank. I explained this to her but she says that I’m wrong? I showed her all of my sources…she still thinks I’m crazy and arrogant? I’m so confused.

@MissSuzyQ‌ I guess that the PSAT is graded a lot differently than other tests, so I understand why your friend is in disbelief. But you’re right. You get +1 point for correct answers, -0.25 for incorrect, and 0 for blank.

You seriously need to reevaluate your priorities if this is what you’re spending your time worrying about. It’s not like tattling on them will change anything. There’s no way to prove they cheated so just mind your own business.

I think @TotallyTrudy‌ explained it better lol.

Ooops. I just realized I started speaking about a subject that is a little unrelated to this thread. Meant to post on the Class of 2017 thread! LOL! Anyways, I sort of would mimic what the others are saying. Even if they did cheat (and it’s possible you’re mistaken), it’s not like they brought in the answer booklet and were using it the entire testing session.

I love it @DAIMYO , “Stay in your lane!”

True but it bothers me that he could get a national merit scholarship he didn’t earn.

Reevaluate your life then

Why would it bother you? Can only one person ear a scholar? Like its really not that big a deal

It’s not going to help you, and them cheating didn’t help them. They likely did worse than you.

“True but it bothers me that he could get a national merit scholarship he didn’t earn.”

Come one man. Would him getting one take it away from you? Unless he cheated on you, it does not concern you and you have no real business getting involved. Also, are you truly worried that he will get falsely rewarded, or are you doing it to make yourself feel better?
