Should I Request My ACT Test Be Hand-Graded?

A few weeks ago, I took the ACT offered by my public school. Today, I got my scores in the mail; I got a 21 composite.

I know this isn’t a good score (it’s enough to get into the university I want to go to), but on the practice ACT, I got a 28, so it doesn’t really make sense that I got a 21. For my practice test, I used the Real ACT Prep Guide.

There were a lot of smudges on my answer document from erasing so much. Could this have caused a computer error? Should I request they hand-grade it?

Thanks.

Yeah smudges can cause a computer error, it happens. Spending the 50 bucks is worth it just for peace of mind, and if they find any errors you get your money back.

I would ask for a hand grade.
