Should I retake a 750? (Chemistry)

I took the chemistry subject test in May, and scored a 750. Chemistry is one of my stronger subjects and I really don't think this score does justice to my passion and enthusiasm for the subject. (I'm also very passionate about math/science in general and will be applying to strong math/science schools, so this score will probably be more important. I did fine on Math2 btw, 800.) But scores aside, I'm disappointed with myself because I didn't give this subject test my full attention - I was spending more time with my 4 APs and I thought that since I was spending plenty of time with AP chemistry problems, I would do fine on the subject test. Turns out that was unthoughtful, because the subject test is quite different from the more time-consuming material on the AP. I should have practiced specifically more for this subject test, and there's a little part of me that feels guilty, like I've betrayed my devoted work ethic or something. If I were to take this test again, it'd be in November so I have plenty of time to plan ahead. But I also would not take this test if I weren't willing to devote a lot of time into studying, so ultimately I'd be working really hard trying for a 50-point increase that might not fully happen - and that time could be spent on other academic areas such as physics or writing, etc. Time is limited, which is my greatest concern.

Should I go for it? Or should I spend that time elsewhere and not send in my Chemistry subject score?

Unless you’re majoring in Chemistry/Engineering or something, I wouldn’t. 750 is great though. Keep in mind the college you apply for is also another factor to consider.

retake it and write my name on the form please ;)

How does a 690 stand for ivy league schools?

^It’s decent, but definitely not competitive. If you’re really trying to get into an Ivy League, I’d aim for 750+

no need to retake. anything above 750 is good enough for top colleges.

750 is already good enough.

I got 780 on my SAT II Chemistry and want to become a Chemical Engineer. I’m satisfied with my score.

^ What’s your point? :)
