Hi Guys,

I took the SAT four times in total, the four time was this past Saturday.

My highest scores were:
M: 580
CR: 560
W: 540

I feel that I did better this time aroudn on the CR and W, but I said that about the math last time and only went up 10 points.
Unfortunatly I have to wait until the 20th in order to see what I got on the November SAT.

Should I retake the SAT I or go for some of the subject tests? or should I wait until the 20th to sign up and just pay the late fee?
Also is there any way for our friends at the collegeboard to rush the results to someone like me, whose Dec 6th test is pending on the results of the Nov.1 test?

take sat1...it's waaay more important than sat2. most colleges don't even request sat 2

boston university does...
But is there a way for the college board to rush the results to me?

You can rush report your scores to colleges for about $17 more but you can't rush your scores. They won't receive your scores before November 20th.

If you need to take the Sat Subject Tests for BU and you haven't taken any yet, you're going to have to do so to be considered unless they'll allow you to take them in January. You've taken the test four times already so unless you change your study habits drastically or take a really helpful class, chances are, your scores will stay the same. Most people's scores don't come up much, if at all, after their third try.

If your dead set on taking the SAT in December and then the Subject Tests in January I would call the admissions office to see if its ok.

What are the easiest SAT II's to take?
I heard history isn't that bad, true?

there are no "easy" sat IIs- it depends on what you're good in.
i heard math 1 is easier than the math section of the sat, so you may want to try that.

Well no its not lol. I took it and got a 500

History's not that bad if you study for them. Just a lot of memorization. It really helps if you took an AP history class.

Kaplan is a good review book for USHistory.

How hard is the lit test?

^ One of the hardest subject tests for most people. For Lit, you should just aim to break 700, while for others it's possible to get higher.

I also heard from my d that lit is rumored to be one of the hardest, with Amer History also being pretty tough.

Have you taken AP US History?
If so, the SAT II won't be that bad. Most the people I know took SAT II after the AP test and got 700+ just by studying for the AP test.
It's really not that bad, since Us History is a pretty familiar subject for most people.

Hmm I took the AP course, but our class didn't take the test. So how about world history is that bad?

physics was pretty easy for me, try getting the barron's book for it.

Chemistry is a pretty decent one.

I'd be re-taking the SAT Is at some point if you are aiming higher than a state school, those scores are a bit lower than you'd want for a good majority of top colleges...
