Should I retake in June? Or wait till the fall?

In short I feel like I can get a perfect on the ACT.
The only thing that is killing me is Math.
I think I need an entire summer to brush up on my math skills.
Should I retake the entire ACT in June?
Or ... wait till the fall and retake it in September when I'm more proficient in math?

And another thing ... what sort of books for the ACT should I purchase? Any tips or books that helped you guys out? So far I've used Kaplan and a bunch of practice ACT tests.

Thanks in advance. Happy Easter!

I was wondering the same thing.

I ruined my 34+ goal with a terrible science section, knocking me down to a 33.25. Maybe the summer break will help to take away a lot of the stress that might hurt ones scores, and there will be more time to concentrate singularly on studying for the act, but I also just want to finish this test once and for all.

The only books I use are the red book and the princeton review, along with one of my ordered tests and the online released test.

Yep. I changed my mind. I decided to buy some prep books and I am planning to retake it again in June. I decided to take your advice and get the red book and the Princeton review. That sucks a 33.25.
