I scored a 660 the first time, and I was mostly unprepared (I looked at a the Cliffnote's web-guide a bit a couple days before). That was last year, and I'm taking Calc now (if that makes any difference). I'm certain I can boost at least it above 700 in Nov., but should I? I've heard the SAT II doesn't matter as much, but I'm gunning for Stanford. Would retaking it look bad? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I got a 790 in Chem., by the way (if that matters at all).

Retake. If you can pop a 790 in Chem - you can blow the doors off a 660 in M2. Don’t rely on your Calc classes, however. Get a M2 study guide and work on it. Don’t study math, study the math test.

Retake for sure. I also got a 660 on my Math2 test and I now that there was a lot more I could of done to raise my grade, so I’m assuming you know what gave you problems last time. Just master those areas that gave you trouble, along with a little review thrown in there and you’ll be all set.

Getting 800 in maths is really not that difficult…if its getting problematic, take a short preparation course…all those things are high school materials and I find II a lot more easier when compared with I…from my school most of us got : 800 Phy, 800 Chem, 800 Maths…
You can really improve! Go for an 800 if its stanford…
