Should I retake Medical Microbiology?

Hello,

This is my first post. I tried yahoo answers but people were rude. Please do not be rude to me.

I graduated from CSUN with BS in Cell/Molecular Biology and Minor in Chem. Currently I have GPA of 3.57, and I freaking hate it with a PASSION! I had a GPA of 3.74 and I took Med Micro/Lab and I suffered my first C in my college life at last semester. FML!!!! I'm depressed right now, considering some a-hole said I have a low gpa on yahoo answers. >.<'

I tried asking my dean if I could retake it, but since I didn't get a C- and considering I already graduated fall 2011, he said no. Can I get this grade replaced if I retook Medical Microbiology at another college, say UCLA Extensions, CSULA Open University, USC open university? If not, will the GPA Average be worth it if I managed to get an A!!!

Yes MCAT score matters blah blah I know that!

Again, I don't want a rude response please.

I want to get into a VERY good Medical School, I refuse to settle for anything less.

( :'( I'm not feeling like myself right now, sorry. )

You cannot replace it so the retake is not worth it. An A in a class you already took impresses no one and anything less than an A in a class you already took looks bad. I also don’t understand how that one class tanked your GPA so much. Assuming you had a 3.74 average and took a standard course load (32 courses), one C should make your GPA a 3.69 instead of a 3.74.
