I plan on applying to econ/business programs ( g'town msb, nyu stern, usc marshall and other schools of this level) and I have always been told that econ/business finance relies upon mathematics greatly.
Unfortunately for me I only scored a 730 on the Math SAT II which is a lot worse than the score itself indicates. I haven't gotten a chance to fully research but I am remotely sure that an 800 itself on this test is only in the 90th% which places my score considerably further down the line.
The thing is that I excel in math in relative sense. I took Calc BC as a sophomore ( As both semesters 5 on AP test and only sophomore in a class above precalc), have never gotten anything less than a A in any math related course and in my two tries at the SAT I i received an 800 and a 770 (this unfortunately was the one with a better overall sitting).

To top off the embarrassment the 730 is the best of THREE tries I have already had. I was grossly unprepared for the first one and recieved a 700. I received a 720 the second time which, after I had hand checked, turned out to be the result of me skipping #40 but bubbling in #41 on the alloted #40 space. The SAT people said that had I not made the error my score would have been a 780. However, what is done is done and my highest score is a 730 as of now.

Should I retake the test to get a higher score or do the rest of my math qualifications make up for this blemish?
