I am a senior with a 730 US History from June and a 630 Lit from November. My low lit grade was due to several factors- I was very sick that day (kiss of death cold), my test got postponed because of Hurricane Sandy, the hurricane had me very distracted that week, and I honestly didn't prepare to the fullest extent. However, I don't want to inform the schools of any excuse. My SAT is a 2240 (740CR, 700M, 800W). I am applying to some ivy league schools. I have a 97 GPA with a decent resume.
(I am a URM as well)
Is it worth it to retake Lit, take a different subject test, or let it be?
Thank you!

bumppppppp?

If I were you, I would retake the Lit, especially if you believe you can get it above a 700. A 630 is pretty low for an Ivy League school, even for URMs.

I you don’t think you can get above a 700, take a different test.

You should take another subject test, even if you don’t retake Lit. Try taking a math or science one, the Ivies love those
