I took the Chem SAT2 after 10th grade, and got an abysmal 580, and in 9th grade took Bio and got 610. However, in junior year I took Math 2 and got an 800, and got a 780 on lit. My number one college choice is Columbia, and they require two subject tests, but are my terrible scores going to make my chances go down the drain since they will all be reported? Any and all advice is appreciated.

how'd u get 780 on lit?!??!?!

thats what i want to know. :P

anyway, if you feel like u can score higher on those other two than go for it. if not, i wouldn't bother; your 780 and 800 outweigh it.

Haha, I just studied a decent amount right beforehand, but not an outrageous amount. My theory is that I got lucky with the test..There's no way I'll be able to score higher on those other two ones without super extensive studying, so I guess I can just hope that my other tests will outweigh them as you say. Thanks a lot!

how'd u study? just a prep book?

Yea, I think I used the Kaplan book or something. But yea, I read through all the review stuff and then took one or two practice tests. I scored around 730 on those practice tests, I think, and my friend who took the test also scored lower on his practice tests, so I'd say definitely take those practice results with a grain of salt.
