Should I retake online course?

One of my Intro biology lecture course was taken online. When I asked my (previous) pre-med advisor about online courses and medical schools, he told that I will need to mention that it was the only option during that semester if they have a problem with it.

I am no longer at that university and wonder if that "excuse" will still be valid.

At my current U, I have the option of retaking this course/lab. Should I retake or just register for upper level bio courses? Not sure how strict medical schools are when it comes to these problems, I am worried that this online course will pose a problem in the future. And for the record, I earned an A in lecture and a B- in the lab.

just register for upper level. The requirement is a year of biology + lab, not intro biology + lab so if you do well in upper level bios, no one will care about your online intro bio.
