I did not have the same drive as I do now.
Currently as a Computer Science major with a 4.0 GPA, I am planning to send applications as a sophomore transfer to Stanford, Georgia Tech, and Cornell. Should I retake the SAT in hopes to get a 2300+ superscore?

Also if I do not get into one of those 3, I will send applications as a junior transfer to UC Berekely, UCLA, and UCSD.

Should I put in a bunch of my time to get a higher SAT score?

+1 to Erin’s Dad. In general, if you already have at least 2 full-time semesters of undergraduate study, colleges neither require nor look at the SAT. And by “in general”, I mean I am not aware of a single school that does look at SAT scores at that point.*

The rigor of, and your performance in, your studies will be the key to their academic assessment of you. If you can work your way into some academic honor societies, that will certainly have some benefit.

Essentially, your efforts are better placed toward achieving excellence in your current work. Retaking (and preparing to retake) the SAT would only distract you from that.
