Should I Retake SAT For a Superscore?

I took the October SAT, and I received the following scores:

800 CR
800 Math
730 Writing (8 essay)
2330 Total

This is my first time taking the SAT. Should I retake in November to improve my Writing score? I already signed up earlier because I thought I was going to do poorly on the October SAT. It is too late to refund. Should I just go ahead and take the SAT again?

I don’t think you should retake it. You received a perfect score on the critical reading and math, both of which are weighted more than writing in terms of college admissions. If you were to retake it, there is a high chance that you wouldn’t receive a perfect score for critical reading and math.

What a terrible problem to have
Gonna agree with newrecruit, very likely the other two drop. Also, nobody seems to care about writing… which was of course my best score

Do. Not. Retake. You have a 1600 M&CR. You risk being viewed as a person obsessed with testing. Let it go.
