Should I retake the SAT because of my writing score

Today I got my score back for the October 3 SAT.

Math: 800
CR: 750
W: 580 (I know)

I am not sure where I want to go to school. I really like UT Austin, but my results on the march SAT made me rethink my college aspirations, so I am still thinking it over.

The M+CR score is great. This allows you to focus on prepping for writing - maybe even take a specialized prep course for SAT writing, if your parents can afford it. With a 100-point increase in your writing score (definitely achievable with considerable prep, although a 50-point jump is more likely), you can push your superscore above 2200 - a very strong score, well above average at 95% of universities.

As things currently stand, your superscore is a very respectable 2130, although the distribution is of course a little unfortunate.
