I took the March SAT and got a 2250. I am pretty happy with my score, except for the fact that I got an 8 on the writing section. I am normally a good writer, so I was wondering if I should retake the test again to try to raise the score? Also, do most colleges look at your score from one sitting or do they look at your best scores from each section? Any info/advice would be great.

Also, how heavily do colleges weigh the writing section in comparison to the other parts of the test?

not as much as they do on the Critical Reading Section and on the Math section, some colleges even exclude the Writing section and ask you to send a score out of 1600…

so BE PREPARED!!~!~!~!!

A 2250 should just about do it for you in terms of college admissions, but there’s no harm in taking the test again. The higher you get is always a plus.
