Should I retake the ACT 2017-2018?

Hello All!

December 2017 ACT Composite - 32
English - 25
Math - 35
Reading - 32
Science - 36

April 2019 ACT Composite - 32
English - 30
Math - 33
Reading - 35
Science - 30

Superscore: 34

Since I only need a 32 (2 more points from April test date) on the English section to superscore to a 35, should I retake the ACT once more?

I am looking to major in Business:

Some of the schools I am applying to: Kelley (IU Bloomington - visited), Villanova, Olin (Wash U - visted), Stern, McIntire School of Commerce (UVA), Questrom (BU), Carrol (BC), Keenan Flagler (UNC-Chapel Hill)

All of the schools listed above superscore which is why I am wondering if I should retake for a 35 super score.

If this helps at all: My GPA at the end of highschool would be a 3.65 (5AP’s 3 Honors) from a top 30 highschool in the country with great EC’s, and HEAVY upward trend in terms of GPA.

Help would greatly be appreciated! Good luck to anyone still hearing back!

I’d say take it again to improve the English section if all the schools you’re applying to superscore. Are you a junior? If so, you still have time to retake but if a 1-point increase may not be worth it if you need to focus on others (finals, APs, subject test, etc). In the end, it’s your call based on your schedule, but if you think it is worth it, I’d say definitely try to increase your superscore.
