I took the ACT for the first time in April and got a 32 composite- 35 english, 30 math, 33 english, 30 science. I spent no time studying for the ACT, but studied extensively for the new SAT with a prep class.
Is it worth it to retake the ACT? I am not sure of my SAT scores yet but am expecting around a 1400. I think I could get my score up 1 point or even 2 points if I studied the math and science sections beforehand.
I only ask because I am not aiming for any extremely prestigious schools- UT Austin, Texas A&M (I already qualify for in-state automatic admission for both of those school), Cal Poly SLO (School of Architecture and Environmental Design).
Is it worth the stress to retake the ACT and study and try to raise my score?
