Im looking to retake either the SAT I or the SAT IIs this upcoming test date and am not sure which to do.

I got a 2200 on the SAT I (700 reading, 740 writing, 760 math)

Sat IIs as follow:

680 Physics
800 math 2 (90th percentile)
660 Spanish

I am not prepared for spanish or physics anymore, so I think I would just take something like literature...? I would not get a better score in spanish or phsyics, no time to study again now.

Btw... 34 on ACT if that helps?

Thanks

can anyone throw me a little help here? I'd appreciate it

What schools are you applying to? I think if anything (and it's not vital) you should retake the SAT II's.

I will be applying to top tier schools, I do very well in school, #1 in the my class of 650, Im looking at California schools, Stanford for one, and also the ivies of the east... kinda makes me lean towards SATIIs becuase of californiam, however I am not prepared to retake physics or spanish, so I would stuck just taking literature... thats my dilemna

take sat II's
stanford dismisses people with scores around 650 easily.
get at least 720 even though it is still not enough.
you should be fine with 2200.

there is time until january. if you need to study only physics - retake it!
schools believe education is different and they look at the SATIIs to see if they suppport your grades.
between 30 and 60 percent of valedictorians get the boot in top 10 schools.
i am just trying to prevent you from deluding yourself...
5 months is a long time even if you never had physics before you can learn it if you want to go to a good school. and believe me - you do.

Ouch... looking like northwestern here i come...

More problems arise becuase there is the november or so test date and the january one... so ill have to debate what to take when.

Im thinking maybe ill just forgot about the SAT I all together and the literature SATII in november, and study for physics for the january one. Or possibly take the SAT I in november and do physics and lit. in january, how does that sound?
