Hello!
I recently took the November 2015 SAT and I got my scores recently. I was quite surprised at my math and essay score. I honestly thought I would have done so much better.
I took the SAT math subject test earlier and I got a much higher score than my math sat score. Not only that, I felt pretty confidant on all my answers during the math SAT. I think I may have skipped a bubble on part of the math section causing my answers to align with the wrong questions.
As for the essay, I got the same score that I got in the 7th grade. That alone should tell you something went wrong. My writing has tremendously improved since then. However, I am not worrying too much about this, since they are dropping the requirement to take the essay due to it’s inability to accurately judge a student’s writing ability.
Anyway, my scores are in the higher end of the middle 50% for the university I am planning to go to. So, I think I could get in. However, I want to have a SAT score that accurately represents my ability. I want to feel good about my SAT scores. Should I retake the SAT or should I just accept the fact that it was a unlucky test for me?
I hope all is going well with you guys

By the way, I am not using specifics in this post, because I do not want to hurt anyone’s feelings. I see people complain about scores that I would only dream about having and it makes me feel bad about my abilities. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.
