Should I retake the SATs? I got 760 math 760 reading 720 writing. I think I may be able to do better. My PSAT scores were 77 math 74 reading 80 writing.

if it's only for applications, then I wouldn't waste the time nor money. However, for extremely selective scholarship programs, 3*750+ is an advantage, IMO.

If you think you can and you have the time...give it a shot...note that you probably wont improve by much.. - assuming you did a couple of practise tests and didnt have any interruptions during the test

Yes, typically once you've hit 750+ on a test, how well you do beyond that pretty much comes down to luck (i.e., do you know those two or three hard hard questions, did you not slip up on that math problem, etc). There's always the chance you will do much better. Probably an equal chance you'll do the same or worse as well, but it's not like that matters.

I think it depends on what college you want to go to. If I got that score, I wouldn't retake, but thats me. It's up to you.

Well, unless you want to apply to MIT or Caltech, and want an 800 on math, go ahead.

fencer, how many math questions did you get wrong/leave blank?
