Should I retake?

<p>I took the ACT in February of this year and got a 34, with this breakdown:
English - 34
Math - 35
Reading - 34
Science - 31</p>

<p>Should I retake it? I'm sure that I can get a better score in the science part, but even so it wouldn't have helped my composite that time (I didn't understand one of the experiments at all). I already took the SAT twice (2240).</p>

<p>No, your score makes you competitive at any school in the country.</p>

<p>I personally would not retake that. That is a really good score, and a 31 science does not deviate as much as it looks. On top of that, a 34 is the 99th percentile, so no school (including Ivies) will accept or reject you based on that.</p>
