I am currently in a dilemma. Both my SATI and SATIIs are not great.
SAT I: 2170 in total (700 CR, 790 M, 680 W)
SAT II: 800 Math IIc, 720 Chemistry.

I only have one test date left (Jan) and I don't know whether I should retake SAT I (2300+) or SAT II (Chem, Phy and Lit)

I am an international applicant aiming for top 20 unis in US.

If you think you can get a 2300, then take the SAT. Going from a 2170 to a 2300 will help you more than getting a 720 chem to a 800. 2 Sat subjects tests are just fine. Go for the SAT I.

^This is my advice for domestic applicants. I have no idea how admissions work for international applicants. Im pretty sure in this case its the same though
