Should I retake SAT I?

March 2005: 2160
Verbal-690
Math-790
Writing-680 (Essay 8)

June 2005: 2260
Verbal-740
Math-760
Writing-760 (Essay 10)

Those colleges who take the highest of each individual section, regardless of test date, will record my score as 2290...but others will use 2260...I don't know whether I really want to spend another 4-5 hours taking this $40 test...but is my score high enough?

I can take a test two more times, since I'm applying early action Harvard.

I was planning on using those test dates for SAT II Chemistry, b/c here are my SAT II scores:
Math IIC-800
Biology-800
US History-720 ( I didn't even study for this...on the day of testing I just decided to switch from Chemistry to US b/c I had no confidence in Chem..but then I got a 5 on my AP exam -.-;;)

So basically, what do you think I should do with my two remaining test dates?

First Date: party
Second Date: sleep

I'm not so sure why you're unhappy with your scores.

your scores are really great right now. but if you think you can definitely do better then you should. but your scores are great!! good job! :)

IMO, a ~750 is the magic number for Ivies, so I would focus more on essays and other stuff. You might try to broaden your SATII's and take Lit with Chem. A strong score in both will show breadth of knowledge.

I honestly don't see the use unless you are really worried...

I bet you could get 2300+ the next time you take it, but I'm not sure if it will matter all that much because your subscores are pretty good.

Take it if you want to. Afterall, you won't have to worry as much this time around because you already have a great score.

But, I don't know if colleges look down upon taking it more than two times.

Should I retake a 2200 {maths 790 writing 770 and cr 640(??!!!!!!!)}
