Should I self-study AP Psychology?

I am a senior in high school and I want to major in neuroscience/neurobiology and go into neurosurgery as a career. I wanted to get as much prep for my major as I possibly can in high school like competing in the regional Brain Bee competition. I was wondering if self-studying AP Psych would also be a good preparation for going into neuroscience. I heard that it’s a pretty easy exam to self-study and I’m only taking two other AP exams this May (Comp Sci A and US Govt). If I do study for it, though, I’m probably not gonna get to it until early April since I have competitions to study for. I know someone who managed to self-study AP Psych for a few weeks, though, and got a 4 so I don’t think that cramming the exam will be a huge issue. So I just wanted to get your guy’s opinions. Should I self-study AP Psych in order to prep myself for neuroscience? Thank you in advance for your feedback!</p>
