Should I self-study Microecon from the Barron's book?

I've decided to self-study microeconomics (I intend to be an econ major, but for some reason, neither AP econ course is among the 24 AP courses my school offers), and following the CC recommended list of best prep books, I bought the Barron's book. As I started going through the text today, though, I noticed that it seemed not at all...(and I never thought I'd say this about a Barron's book) thorough.

Any opinions? I've always been reliant on prep books, but self-studying from one is making me a little uncomfortable.

Thanks in advance for feedback. =)
