Should I Send 730 Subject Scores?

I know that Stanford does not require students to send subject test scores, but they do recommend sending them if they will help in your favor. I'm afraid that my Math II and Chemistry SAT II scores of 730 aren't very high and should not be sent. Will it hurt me more if I don't send them at all, or should I avoid sending my SAT II scores to Stanford when applying?

what did you get on the math section of SAT?

@texaspg I never took the SAT, I got a 33 on the ACT (30 math and science, 35 on reading/english).

30 on Math sounds weak. It may be compensated by the SAT II score.

Your standardized testing in general seems a bit weak, so I don’t think it will help or hurt

My intended major is Political Science, so I think my scores of 35 in the English portions will “override” the scores in the other two categories. Overall, I’m not worried in the slightest for my ACT, as I’m exactly the 50th percentile for Stanford. I’m much more worried in the Subject tests, because those are worse off relative to other applicants.

if your intended is political science why do you think Math and Chemistry will improve your application?

@nanot3ch Because two subject tests is still “recommended” so I decided to take them, but I don’t know if I should send them.

What about the CompGov or USGov subject tests?

I submitted a 720 Math II, but with a 770 Math sat and 36 math act so I don’t really know how it happened
