I want to submit a music supp to my schools (I’ve been playing piano for 13 years) but I don’t know what type of pieces they want to see. Some schools are very specific about what they want but others are more open-ended. Just wondering if it is helpful or hurtful to my applications to submit a music supplement. I am considering these pieces: 1. Golliwogg’s Cakewalk, Debussy 2. Le Jardin féerique (duet), Ravel 3. Rachmaninoff Prelude in C sharp minor OR Agitation, Mendelssohn. I worry that maybe there isn’t enough contrast if I use both Debussy and Ravel pieces. What do you think?
Any tips on how to create the supplement would be appreciated!
