should I send an art supplement?

HI, i have played piano for 8 years and have won 2 national awards. Some top schools say you send art supplement only if you have extrordinary talent and intend to pursue that major in college.

I don't plan to study music major. Will an art supplement hurt my application?
As for piano, what can be called 'extrordinary'? Some example please?

THX~

up up ^_^ ~~~

I think that the commitment and discipline this shows will impress adcoms regardless of your intention to not pursue it in college. Obviously whatever you do pursue, you'll be a hard worker and stick with it. I say send it in!

Just check with the policies of each school regarding their policy for supplemental materials. It certainly sounds like you are very accomplished in piano though, with 2 national awards!

As an example, I've been involved in competitive dance and perform frequently with my dance school for the last 8 years, so when I was applying to Penn I submitted a DVD with a few clips of a show. I had (and still have) no intention of majoring in dance.
