I'm planning to do a music composition submission, as well as a piano performance one. Add an architectural drawing/work to that and do you think it'll raise my competitiveness by much?

Unless you're competitive with the people who perform in that field, no. Most people who submit supplements do not really benefit from the supplement. In other words, unless you're VERY talented, remember lots (if not 100 percent) of people who apply ivy league can play music, some can compose well, do not send the supplement.

personally, i think if it comes down to two people... who have very, very similar stats.
That art supplement just might give you the edge

I think you can't lose by sending the supplement (after all...what's the worst that can happen...unless you actually bury them with paperwork, etc. for your app lmao)

but agreed with disasterous that you should be PRETTY competitive with people who major in that field to bring you up...

It will only give him an edge if he is competitive enough that the department who reviews his supplement gives it a favorable rating. Like I said before, the supplement is for the select few.
