Should I Send Both?

I'm a senior and I got the results of the October ACT today.
This was the first time I had ever taken the ACT.
I have also taken the SAT two times.

ACT:
English - 33
Math - 27 (ahh! :( )
Reading - 32
Science - 30
Composite - 31

SAT:
2150 (superscored) - 680 CR, 700M, 770W
2110 (single sitting)

*Should I send my ACT scores in addition to my SAT scores?
*Should I retake the ACTs in an effort to bring up my math score?

Could anyone please help me with this?

I think you should just send your SAT scores, they look more impressive to me…

@dinosoar,
Are you sure? Aren’t my SAT scores about on par with my ACT scores? Or is it that the writing score for the SAT is more impressive as well as the math score?

Actually, your SAT is slightly higher than your ACT, and your math is higher on the SAT.

@ReesesPieces891,
Do you think I should retake the ACT and try to raise my math score? I know I can, I just didn’t manage my time well or prepare enough for the ACT…

A 31 isn’t a bad score though, right? Would it hurt me if I sent it?

It may help you to know that my top choices are NYU, Brandeis, and GWU… Does that change or strengthen your opinion?

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

(I still haven’t received my essay score).

I just got my writing score back… It’s an 8 (I also got an 8 on the essay for both times I took the SAT). This makes my combined english/writing score a 30. Do colleges look at that score?

Anyone else want to lend their opinion?
I plan on asking my guidance counselor tomorrow…
