Should I send my ACT scores?

Hello,

So first off, I'll be applying to college this fall. I'm a relatively successful student who worked pretty hard in high school. I have a 3.8 uw gpa and solid extracurriculars and athletics. I'm looking to apply to some pretty good schools, some being test-score optional. These schools being Bowdoin, Bates, Conn college, Wake Forest, Colby, American university, and specifically Wesleyan (going test-score optional, no?). So here's my question: I have a 29 on my ACT, should I submit it in my application?

My break down is 25 reading (awful, I know) 30 english 31 math 30 science

I'm scheduled to take the ACT again and I'm hoping on improving these scores, but for now, what do you think?

yoo

To Wesleyan? No. You shouldn’t.

I suggest sending them. It puts you in the 89th percentile. All the best for the second attempt

Last year, at my daughter’s high school, an author and former college admissions officer (pretty renowned as he was on Oprah) suggested that we should never send standardized test scores to a test optional school if the scores are at or below the school’s averages. Good luck to you.

Thanks, guys!!
