When I took the SAT last March, I recieved a 2270 with a score breakdown of 800 R, 790 M, and 680 W. My writing score had an 8 essay. I took the ACT last weekend and am expecting a 34. This is basically equivalent to a 2270, but I think I did very well on the ACT essay. I have already sent my SAT scores to colleges through collegeboard.

My question is, would it be beneficial to send in my ACT scores afterwards as well if I managed to receive a 34 but had a good score for the essay as well (like a 10-12)?
