Should I send these?

I was thinking about sending in my first quarter grades because they continue my upward trend. I had all A's (including AP's), except for a B in Physics and a B+ in AP English. Do you think this will hurt me? I have made it clear that I have no interest in pursuing either Math or Science in college.

Was your rank improved?

My school doesn't rank and they won't re-calculate my GPA, but theoretically, my GPA would probably be higher.

if it's an upward trend, probably no harm (at least) in sending those grades...probably also good to show the admissions office that you're not slacking off senior year

that's scary.... i had the exact same grades, except my B+ was in AP statistics. I decided not to send mine because I'm really banking on my upward trend and I had straight As last year. tough call

Do I just have my school send in an updated transcript?

I didn't think it was optional. They are going to see your first Q grades if you applied SCEA, and your first semester grades if you applied RD. Or, I guess, both if you are deferred. Is this not correct?

I think it differs by school. My school doesn't send out first quarter reports; they only send out midyear reports.
