This school does not require a personal statement, but often times that is a trap where most admitted students have written a high-quality personal statement.
Is this the case?
The school already has a pretty high acceptance rate, so what’s the benefit of submitting a personal statement?
My S23 didn’t submit a personal statement (used Common App) and got admitted with the WUE merit (3.7UW/3.9W/5 APs). I don’t think the admissions and stats-based merit considers whether you’ve submitted the personal statement, but you do need to submit an essay for Honors.
