<p>i wrote a personal essay for my english class last year (junior year), and i'm thinking about fixing it up a bit for college apps. my teacher didn't give very extensive feedback, so if any of you could help, that'd be amazing.</p>

<p>obviously, i'll have to condense it, so tell me which parts you think i should/shouldn't keep. and also, please tell me if anything sounds too cheesy. i sometimes border on the melodramatic.</p>
