Should i stick with ACT?

Hi, i got my scores today. I got a 32 vs. a 2100 on SAT's.
Now the issue is this:
I got a 32 with moderate prep (5-6prep tests) but a 2100 with a lot of practice tests. Should i continue with SAT's or switch to ACT's?
the reason i ask is that my SAT score might have been a fluke. But i don't want to take both tests.
If i do decide to take SAT's, Ill have to take BIO SAT II. So, what would be a good plan for next year?

Act .

^thanks!
anybody else agree?
I need to be confident in my decision.

ACT. Your act score is slightly higher, but since you had more prep in the SAT you’re probably better at the ACT. also you should wait for your essay score and compare them.

This fall take the SAT II’s in october and take the earliest ACT (maybe october?).

Stick with the ACT.

The earliest ACT is in September: *** 9/11 *** actually

Honestly, submit both if you can, but yeah, the ACT is better.
The subject tests are so annoying if you can avoid them. You’ll need to take more than just 1 (though Bio is so easy).
My advice is take 2 if your school requires them.
Good luck!

i took M levl2 and scored 800.
I took bio II but cancelled them only to find out that i would have had 770 on that test. UGGGGHHH. I know this because i compared my answers to those in the BIO thread in the sub. test forum.

why would you ever cancel your scores, you can choose which ones to send you know

^well i am applying to Yale. I confirmed that i had at least -6 wrong on the test. According to the practice test given by CB, i would have had a 750 ish. In actuality, I thought i have had at least 730/720 because ppl said the curve would be harsh. So i cancelled, thinking that i did not want Yale to see the low 700. It turns out that the curve was monstrous, yielding for me a 770.

Yale has no score choice policy.

No, score choice is about the SAT I. You can also choose which SAT II scores to send.

**** really? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Why would one do that? If one is clearly better than another on a conversion scale, submit ** only ** the highest one. Why send something that is lower? Duh.

Fresh, it depends on your subject strengths; if you’re very strong in science and 3-year math (trig and pre-calc) and can answer questions quickly, then the ACT is probably to your advantage.

If you’re better in English and Reading and haven’t taken trig/pre-calculus or didn’t do well in it, then you’d be better off focusing on the SAT and carefully study the way the SAT tries to trap you with simple questions made obscure.

Also, the SAT more often allows superscoring than the ACT and you might thus best benefit from an intense focus on your area of greatest weakness. With the ACT, you run the risk of acing your previously-weak sections while dropping your highest previous scores, thus leaving you with a composite close to what you had earlier.

So i will stick with the ACT i guess. Thanks for the help everybody!

I’m pretty sure that score choice includes Subject tests.

I would stick with the ACT as well. Are you going to be a senior next year?
