I want to transfer to this new community college this fall, but to be honest I haven't even applied yet and course registration ended on Aug.1st. The reason why was this summer my grandmother got sick and recently passed away and had her funeral last Wednesday. Now since all that is over I have my full focus on getting into this school now, but I think it maybe too late and if it is should I still apply or just apply for the spring?

Go talk to someone. Most community colleges have open enrollment. If classes haven’t started, you might still be able to enroll for this term.

Pick up the telephone. You’ll be told YES or NO so you can stop wondering. Most CC classes have lots of drops early so I can imagine your squeezing in w/o any trouble.
