I realize this is like the third time I am posting about this but long story short- I don't want to leave home. I have been upset for awhile but have been trying to push myself to go away but I honestly don't think I can do it. I am extremely close to my family and we do so much together and I just can't imagine living so far from them and not seeing them every day. I am supposed to move in 3 days from now. I am pretty sure I can get a full refund on my tuition that I have paid so far. My concern though is that I am not sure if I can still go to the Community College I was accepted to. Orientation is required and I don't know if they are still having sessions. I want to start this fall so that I don't forget anything I learned last year and I am trying to prepare for med school (another reason I changed my mind because I would like to save money.) I know you guys won't know if there are still orientation sessions left but do you think they would at least let me take classes without orientation. I mean people can register classes after the start of the semester so I assume I can still sign up for classes. I hope this all makes sense. And I have been looking like crazy and they have confirmation deadlines for other semesters but not this one...

A lot of CC’s have on-line orientation. My older son took some classes at our local CC this summer instead of UC Davis and did his orientation on-line since he was in the middle of finals at Davis. You need to call admissions at the CC and talk some one that could help you.

ASAP you should: 1) Talk to your parents 2) call the CC and find out if you can still enroll 3) call the college to see if you can get a refund. Once you have the facts, you decision might be a whole lot easier.
