I know it is recommended not to study the day before but what about Tues, Weds, and Thurs.? Would it be detrimental if I just skim through my notes, for 30 minutes, on Friday?

Depends how well prepared you are?

No. Come on, think on your own! I've never heard of anyone significantly harming their SAT score because they reviewed a few days before the test. That's absolutely ridiculous.

Take SAT advice as general guidelines. Don't take it so literally.

When they say don't cram for the test, or forget about the SAT for a few days and just relax, they mean don't get so stressed about it before you take it. The idea is that if you have studied diligently beforehand, you know the stuff. Stressing out about stuff that you already know won't help you; it'll only hurt you.

That doesn't mean that if you forgot what a certain word means, that you can't look it up! If you forgot an SAT word, like inexorable or vaunt, look it up!

So it's not like, if you study 24 hours before the test it's okay, but after that your score is going to drop 100 points. That's just silly.

lol yeah I see what you are talking about... it is just with the test date looming I'm just getting pretty anxious
