ok so i want to apply to princeton. (as you can tell :] ) but i got a 1560 on my psat and im pretty sure i wont get anywhere near 2000 on my SAT. I think ill do very well on the ACT so if i just submit the ACT, will it change my chances at all?basically i want to know if not submitting a SAT score will affect my chances at all.

You can just submit the ACT. If you do well on that, submit it. Otherwise, just submit the bad SAT score. They won’t take no score at all.

Princeton requires either the SAT or the ACT. It’s not a trap, where choosing one rather than the other disadvantages you.

sorry i know the question is confusing, basically :
submit the bad sat and good act
or just the good act

You very well could do better on the SAT than you did on the PSAT. If not, you could abstain from sending in any SAT score and submit only the ACT. A sub-2000 SAT is a huge liability when applying to the Ivy League. It would be best left hidden.
