Hi,
I've asked a few art teachers at school for their opinion, they said they like my art but they didn't know what was good enough for sending a non-art major supplement to top schools. I haven't taken classes so I don't know the teachers well, so I am sort of wondering if they were even just saying that to be polite

I was hoping I might find some people with knowledge here. I have some examples online, would anyone be willing to look at my stuff and give me their opinion? I can PM them to you

Hi Ari, You can pm me with your portfolio. Just to clarify; you’d be sending the art supplement? I thought that you needed a recommendation from an art teacher.

That was another problem…I’m not sure what I’m going to do for that, so right now I’m only sending the supplement to schools that dont require the common app (or a rec letter)

I’d like to get some more opinions on this…I’ve got a portfolio set up so I can just PM you the link

Some of the schools I’m applying to - like Stanford- seemed to really discourage supplemental materials unless its very good, almost to the extent where it would hurt if they aren’t very good. So I’m a little nervous about sending things in…but I’d like to know honestly what people think
