Hey guys. I got my SSAT back and I was wondering wether or not I should send it to the schools I’m applying to. I am applying to top schools: Andover, Exeter, Groton, Milton, Hotchkiss, and Concord.
Overall: 91%
Math: 91%
Verbal: 94%
Reading: 71%
My reading score is really bad so I am not sure wether or not I should submit it.
I was WL at some schools you mentioned and my scores were much worse (Q88, R75, V65). They just want to see you can do the work. Your scores reflect that. I would not hesitate to submit.
Some of these schools require the tests this year. Only ones you have a choice not to are ones that say they are optional. You need to make sure you know which on your list are optional. Not all are.
These schools usually accepts SSAT scores of 90% or above. Your overall is pretty high, so I would go ahead and submit. After all, it’s just one number in the actual admission, submitting it is better than nothing.
