College board shows that Wake only looks at math and critical reading if you choose to submit SATs. If my m+cr is 1350, should I submit it?

Also, is there any advantage to sending SAT scores even though they are optional?

In my opinion - and after looking at the scattergrams for Wake from our hs - I would submit a SAT score of 1300 and up or an ACT score of 30 and up. These are good scores that will most likely help your chance of admissions - they certainly won’t hurt it.

So - yes - I would submit a 1350.

My son got 1340 and submitted it 2 years ago. At the time that appeared to be the median. He’s now a sophomore.

Their most recent middle 50% on SATs is 1280-1420 and they only look at the Math and Critical Reading sections for that test to derive that middle 50%.

I think that if you’re within that range you should submit the score; I think it helps, so go ahead and congratulations on that score by the way!
