I am currently a Junior and wanted to take precalc this year to challenge myself because colleges like that. I was confident that I was gonna get a good grade because I had As in Algebra 2, but now I regret it. I’m getting Cs and Ds currently. I heard it’s not good to switch in second semester because it looks bad on your college transcript. I want to major in ART and PERFORMING ARTS, MUSIC, etc. My teacher says that I should stay and get a peer partner, but she also says that it’s gonna get way harder. I don’t know if I should switch PLZ HELP ME!
If statistics is a year long course, you may find the second semester to be difficult if you have not had the first semester.
I agree that you probably cannot jump into statistics in the middle. If the course started a week or two ago it might be just doable.
I would think that getting a tutor or some extra help with precalculus is more likely to work out.
thank you thank you a lot!!
Thank u so much!
I agree! I think you should look for new resources to succeed in PreCalculus. Khan Acadmey is so helpful, and I also really like Paul’s Online Notes (check the Algebra and Calculus sections)! Come up with some sort of plan going into second semester. Find out when your teacher can meet to tutor you and utilize the peer to peer option!
